WA: Fire destroys two classrooms at high school

PERTH, Aug 5 AAP - Arson squad detectives are investigating a fire that has destroyed
two classrooms and caused more than $50,000 damage to a high school in the state's far
north.

The fire broke out late yesterday afternoon and quickly engulfed the classrooms at
Derby Senior High School.

Police spokesman Dennis Perich said although details about the blaze were still sketchy,
police were treating the cause of the fire as suspicious.
