United fall to strugglers.

IT was another Saturday when it was better to travel than play at home in the Premier Division.

Struggling Ashover bucked the trend by beating Belper United 3-2 with goals from Will Sissons, Will Harcourt and Craig Hanshaw.

Ripley FC did gain a draw at home to Ilkeston Town Reserves but when they trailed 3-0 at the interval with Andy Imrie, Andy Bickerton and Kyle Bryant all scoring for Ilkeston it looked as if Ripley would go the way of most of the rest of the Division.

However, Dan Cummings, Chris Green and Jay Harrison all netted second half goals to make the final score 3-3.

For the second week running Newmount lost 4-3 at home.
